Here Are 8 Tips :
First allergies : If you think you are sensitive to animals, obviously keep your pet out of your bedroom at all times. If you have breathing difficulties, or think you’re asthmatic, minimise house mites by getting rid of textiles as much as possible . And get a mite – proof mattress, duvet and pillow covers .
Secondly temperature : High temperatures can make your sleep worse , whilst low temperatures do not seem to do so. If it is practical try to keep your bedroom cool and reasonably well ventilated.
And don’t forget light: Keeping your bedroom dark, is important. Light too early in the morning can wake you up before you have had a good nights sleep . If you need to get up at night to go the toilet, avoid turning on bright bathroom light.
Rather get a dim night light, or maybe a small torch. If your alarm clock is brightly lit face it the other way , maybe throw it away !
Noise : Keep your room as quiet as possible . Loud clocks should be removed , hissing or gurgling radiators turned fixed , traffic noise deadened by getting double glazing .

Now for the bed : A bad bed can cause back ache, a common cause of broken sleep . Buy the best mattress you can afford , fairly firm and well supported. Some people swear by an adjustable bed, but they are more expensive .
As for pillows the general advice is that the lower the better, but of course you should trust your common sense. If you feel comfortable with three pillows, then trust your feelings.Smells: The smell of food and the smell of smoke will interfere with your sleep Don’t leave any food in your bed if you eat there – a lingering smell of pizza and French fries will ruin your sleep !
Fags will make make your bedroom smell stale, if you then add the fact that nicotine is a strong stimulant and you see why smoking is to be avoided .
